The local stock market resumed its climb yesterday, with the KLSE Composite Index (CI) closing 6.5 points higher at 688.6, as more investors jumped onto the band wagon on optimism that the benchmark index would soon breach the 700-point level.
Second liners and penny stocks attracted the most attention, while some blue chips were seen taking a breather after their recent sharp gains.
