New Affin Bank CEO sets out his main priorities

AFFIN Bank Bhd's newly appointed president and chief executive officer Datuk Abdul Hamidy Abdul Hafiz has been brought into the bank not only to deal with its high level of non-performing loans (NPLs) but also to create a niche in the industry to ensure it remains an anchor bank. 

“I will continue with the broad changes that have been initiated to make it a better bank,'' he told the media in Kuala Lumpur yesterday. “This bank has all the ingredients to be a successful anchor bank and is determined to move forward.''
