A HIGHER proportion of mergers and acquisitions (M&As) have enhanced value for the acquirer's shareholders, according to a survey done by accounting firm KPMG.
The survey on 122 companies found that a higher proportion (34%) of such deals had enhanced value compared with 30% in a similar survey conducted in 2001, and 19% in 1999.
