LONDON: The reputation of British business executives has been harmed by a few who walk away from failing companies with lavish compensation, a Cabinet minister said Tuesday.
“What we don't want and what is insulting is when people are losing their jobs and investors are losing their savings, is to have the people who make the decisions walking off with huge payoffs,'' Trade Secretary Patricia Hewitt said in a British Broadcasting Corp radio interview.
