KLSE takes MBf Capital to task for breach


THE KLSE has publicly reprimanded MBf Capital Bhd for breaches of Section 33 of the main board Listing Requirements for failing to make immediate announcements in respect of the winding-up petitions served on MBf Capital and its wholly-owned subsidiary, MBf Leasing Sdn Bhd by Southern Investment Bank Bhd on May 23, 2001.  

The company announced the winding-up petitions in its quarterly results for the period ended March 31, 2001 which was released on May 31, 2001, after a delay of six market days.
