PLUS aims for 4.3% traffic volume growth

MALAYSIA'S largest toll-road operator PLUS Expressways Bhd is expecting at least 4.3% growth in traffic volume for the current financial year ending Dec 31, said executive vice-chairman Abdul Wahid Omar. 

Last year, toll revenue soared to a record high of RM1.7bil from RM1.2bil in 2001, mainly on traffic growth of 2.3% and a 10% increase in the toll rate from Jan 1 last year.
