MALAYSIAN Airline System Bhd (MAS) has signed several contracts worth RM644.1mil annually with Petroliam Nasional Bhd subsidiary Petronas Dagangan Bhd for the supply of jet A-1 fuel at 10 local airports.
MAS said in a statement to the KLSE yesterday that the contracts were effective from April 1.
Petronas Dagangan's bid is to supply fuel to Kota Kinabalu, Johor Baru, Kuching, KLIA, Langkawi, Miri, Penang, Sibu, Sandakan and Subang airports.
The Shell bid to supply fuel to the KLIA, the Kota Kinabalu, Kuching and Miri airports is worth RM 279.7mil annually. The ExxonMobil bid to supply fuel to KLIA is worth RM162.5mil annually.
