Commerce Trust expects new syariah fund to hit RM100m by year-end


COMMERCE Trust Sdn Bhd expects its newly launched syariah compliant fund called Lifetime Dana Barakah to bring total funds under its Islamic-based unit trust schemes to close to RM100mil by end of this year. 

According to its chief executive officer Yeoh Keat Seng, the company expects the new fund to attract RM50mil in investment by the end of this year and match the performance of its existing Islamic unit trust fund Lifetime Dana Putra, which has attracted more than RM40mil.
