THE KLSE extended its rise into the ninth consecutive trading day yesterday, with politically linked stocks and lower liners hogging the limelight, as investors continued to buy on optimism that the stock market would perform better in the second half.
Dealers and analysts said the active interest shown in lower liners signalled the return of retail players who had been sitting on the sidelines for months – and their renewed confidence in the KLSE.
