BONUSLINK, the multi-partner consumer rewards programme, has signed up Goodyear as its 51st participating company.

As a participating company, Goodyear will issue BonusLink points for purchases of goods and services at Goodyear Servitekar centres nationwide. Currently, there are more than 220 of these one-stop tyre and car-care centres in the country.

“We are committed to ensuring that BonusLink is effective in helping businesses achieve their aim of building brand loyalty among customers,” BonusKad Loyalty Sdn Bhd (BLSB) general manager Ivan Kumar said in a statement after the signing ceremony between BLSB and Goodyear Marketing & Sales Sdn Bhd. The event was held last week.

“This commitment has earned us a good reputation in the industry and Goodyear's participation reflects the high level of confidence businesses continue to place in the programme,” he said.

Goodyear Malaysia Bhd and Goodyear Asean managing director C.K. Choo signed the agreement on behalf of the company .

“Most of our members, especially those in the urban areas, own more than one car. They will certainly welcome Goodyear not just as another participating company where they can accumulate more points but where they have better access to some of the best professional car care centres in the country,” Ivan said.

According to Ivan, the Malaysian economy in general has also benefited from the BonusLink programme.

“Our participating companies have succeeded in maintaining and even boosting their sales. In supporting the programme, we have also helped to create a demand chain in areas such as IT, delivery and supply of products and services which translate to business opportunities,” he said.

On Goodyear's participation in BonusLink, Choo said it was the company's way of thanking its customers for their support.

“Through BonusLink, we are able to give our loyal customers something back in return for their patronage at Goodyear Servitekar centres,” he said

Goodyear Servitekar centres are equipped with the latest electronic and computerised tools. They also provide tyre and car-related services, including minor repairs.
