MPI among the top gainers

THIS counter was among the top gainers yesterday, closing 30 sen higher at RM11.80 on volume of 345,000 shares. UT Securities, in its latest research note, is maintaining its buy recommendation on MPI. Going forward, the research house believes that MPI's Advanced Packaging operations will gain traction. Last year, MPI registered a 25% quarter-on-quarter revenue growth in the quarter ended June following a flat quarter ended March.
