MHC Plantations sees improvement in output

MHC Plantations Bhd, which saw a 2-fold increase in pre-tax profit due to strong palm oil prices, is projecting its production to improve in the next 3 years, with additional new areas reaching maturity. 

Executive director Datuk Mah King Seng said production was expected to touch 73,800 tonnes this year, 84,900 tonnes in 2004 and 94,000 in 2005.
