Dutch Lady Milk Industries Bhd posted a pre-tax profit of RM5.99mil in the first quarter ended March 31, 2003, up from RM262,000 recorded in the same quarter last year.  

Its revenue amounted to RM96.73mil from RM80.43mil previously. – Bernama 

CIMB BHD said it became a substantial shareholder of CYL Corp Bhd on April 22 as part of a debt settlement scheme. CIMB now holds 9.051 million CYL shares of 50 sen par each, equivalent to a 9.05% stake. – AFX 

GOLDEN HOPE PLANTATIONS BHD said it would join forces with Negara Properties (M) Bhd to develop the Bangi Estate, the Old Lunderston Estate and part of Kota Bayuemas, all located in Selangor. 

Both companies would also jointly develop part of Kota Seriemas project in Negri Sembilan, Golden Hope said in a statement. – AFX
