Harvard Club Malaysia bids farewell to Sarji

THE Harvard Club of Malaysia bade farewell to its president Tan Sri Ahmad Sarji Abdul Hamid at the club's AGM and dinner in Kuala Lumpur on Monday night.

Tan Sri Dr Lin See Yan, who takes over the presidency, said that Sarji had contributed enormously to the club and managed to build up the consolidated fund of the club and Yayasan Harvard to RM1.1mil during his tenure. 

According to Lin, Sarji had worked aggressively to promote the Association of Har-vard University Alumni Club of Asia which now has 32 members clubs in 15 countries in Asia including Australia. 

Also present at the dinner was Raja Nazrin Shah, the club patron and Raja Muda of Perak.  

Harvard Club of Malaysia has more than 100 individual members in Malaysia.
