MAXIS Communications Bhd in-tends to offer Measat Broadcast Network Systems Sdn Bhd (MBNS) an option to subscribe for such number of shares in Advanced Wireless Technologies Sdn Bhd (AWT) as representing up to 25% equity in AWT.
Maxis said this was in respect to a memorandum of understanding en-tered into with MBNS at the time of the former's listing in May 2002, which provided that Maxis would procure the grant by AWT of an option to MBNS to subscribe for up to 25% interest in AWT.
