RM2bil Proton City plant back on track

DELAYED by four years due to the economic crisis which hit the country in July 1997, Perusahaan Otomobil Nasional Bhd's (Proton) RM2bil state-of-the-art automobile manufacturing plant in Proton City, Tanjung Malim in Selangor, is now firmly back on track.

Nothing concrete was formally announced until last week's media tour at the Proton City plant to view the work progress.
