NTPM: More demand for tissue paper because of SARS

TISSUE paper maker NTPM Holdings Bhd, which made its debut on the KLSE main board yesterday, does not expect the outbreak of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) to affect its expansion plan this year. 

On the contrary, managing director Lee See Jin said, the company would likely see an increase in demand for its tissue paper and toilet rolls given the heightened awareness of the importance of hygiene.
