CERTAIN brands are more prominent among consumers in Malaysia, according to Reader's Digest Superbrands Survey 2003 which also revealed that the country has the least number of new brand entries compared with other markets.
Reader's Digest Asia associate publisher Peter Jeffery said traditional dominant brands such as Sony, Rolex and Canon still rated highly among consumers but this year, more brands such as Samsung and Fuji Xerox had emerged as Superbrands for the first time.
