THE Malaysia External Trade Development Corp (Matrade) and the Malaysian Association in New York are embarking on a drive to promote Malaysian food and beverage products as well as furniture among Asian communities in the United States.
Matrade trade commissioner Jamaludin Hussain said the two were targeting Malay-sians who were already in business in the US and Asians from countries like China, Vietnam, Hong Kong and Taiwan who were aware of Malaysian products but had no dealings with the country.
