WESTPORT operator Klang Multi Terminal Sdn Bhd officially launched its Westport ope-rations planning system (WOPS) last Tuesday after subjecting it to two months of intensive tests.
Developed in-house, the new system aims to help managers involved in container loading and unloading operations to accurately deploy equipments such as rubber tyre gantries (RTG) and prime movers, and optimise their use.
