NEW YORK: PepsiCo Inc has recorded a 13% jump in profit for its first quarter, helped by better sales in all of its businesses and lower merger and acquisition costs.
For the three months ended March 22, the beverage and food company had a net income of US$777mil, up from US$689mil a year ago.
