COLOMBO: Telekom Malaysia Bhd said yesterday it would invest an additional US$90mil in Sri Lanka’s MTN Networks Ltd, its fully-owned subsidiary and the island’s largest mobile operator.
The US$90mil brings Telekom's total investment to nearly US$200mil since it entered the Sri Lankan market in 1995, and is one of the biggest since the island began a peace process last year to end two decades of war with Tamil Tiger rebels.
