Telekom upbeat on broadband target

TELEKOM Malaysia hopes to install 300,000 broadband ports this year and to reach its target of one million ports in two years' time, according to its senior telco officer Dr Idris Ibrahim. 

He said that at present about 100,000 ports had been installed nationwide to provide broadband services.
