Alliance Bank opens two more branches

THE Alliance Bank Malaysia Bhd branch network has risen to 79, with the opening of two new branches in the Klang Valley at the Wisma MCA at the end of last month, and at Mont Kiara last week. 

The Mont Kiara branch has an Alliance Privilege Banking Centre, its fifth in the Klang Valley, which accords members personalised services ranging from immediate and long-term financial planning to personal loans and credit cards.  

Both branches incorporate a spacious and conducive banking environment, a 24-hour e-banking lobby, and banking hall and customer service areas, the bank said in a statement.

Alliance Banking group chief executive director Ng Siek Chuan said: “At the same time we have also put in place a new branch design concept to transform our branches into effective sales and service centres.”  

The bank would continuously leverage the use of technology for a wider range of innovative products and services to ensure customers' banking experience is made easier and more convenient, he added.  

To further support the government's initiative to build a knowledge and information technology-based nation, Ng said: “Alliance Bank is the first bank to use MyKad, currently only at our Mont Kiara and Petaling Jaya Section 13 branches, with more branches to be included soon.” 

He said the bank would leverage on smart-chip technology and would widen its offering of secured and innovative banking applications in the near future.
