MAXIS Communications Bhd is targeting a 10% contribution from its mobile data business to total mobile revenue this year, up from 7% last year, according to the general manager and head of mobile data business unit, Steve Martineau.
“The higher growth projection is in line with the current monthly double-digit growth in Maxis' value-added data services,” he told a press conference after launching Maxis' entertainment service, the 29 Java-enhanced games downloads, in Kuala Lumpur yesterday.
