The Building Materials Distributors Association of Malaysia (BMDAM) has refuted the allegation that distributors are profiteering, hoarding and even conspiring with steel millers on the pricing of steel bars.
It convened an emergency meeting of its members yesterday to discuss the shortage and confusion on this issue, according to a statement released by the association.
