LONDON: British Airways (BA) and Air France have called an end to the world’s first and only supersonic passenger jet, saying they would mothball the fuel-guzzling Concorde 27 years after it entered service.
“Concorde changed the way people travelled,” BA chief executive Rod Eddington told reporters yesterday.
