SINGAPORE will cut its economic growth target of 2.5% this year because of the outbreak of the deadly Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS), its Prime Minister Goh Chok Tong said.
“At this stage, I can say the travel and hospitality industry will be affected; but by how much, I do not know,” Goh told local reporters at a weekend briefing.
