THE term property overhang may have to be redefined as the current definition does not reflect the actual scenario in the property sector, said Real Estate and Housing Developers' Association Malaysia (Rehda) executive director Ng Kuai Heng.
Based on current practice, a unit is categorised in the property overhang segment if it remains unsold nine months after its launch.
