LOCAL port operator Integrax Bhd is looking at expanding operations to Sumatra. A delegation of company officials is set to meet up with the governor of North Sumatra among others; to discuss the possibility of initiating port operations, in a meeting scheduled this coming Monday. 

Integrax, already controls Lumut Maritime Terminal and Lekir Bulk Terminal (collectively known as Lumut Port), and according to officials, the company is looking to initiate port operations in Sumatra in anticipation of larger trade volumes between Peninsula Malaysia and North Sumatra.
