MALAYSIA has moved up three places to No. 30 in the overall Growth Competitiveness Index (GCI) ranking, according to the recently released Global Competitiveness Report 2002-2003 of the World Economic Forum.
In the Microeconomic Competitiveness Index (MICI), Malaysia did even better, moving up 11 notches to 26th place from 37th previously.
