SELANGOR-BASED consultant Noble Nexus Sdn Bhd has proposed the setting up of Indonesia-Malaysia-Thailand Growth Triangle (IMT-GT) consulting group to ensure that all projects are successfully implemented and at-tain the desired investment returns.
Noble managing director Mohd Fauzee Kassim said that the initiative was aimed at pooling together professional resources to undertake projects within the IMT-GT.
With intra-trade increasing an-nually in the region and the IMT-GT members undertaking more joint ventures, it was important to expand professional networking and to enhance the success rate of projects, he said.
He was speaking at the sidelines of the IMT-GT senior officers meeting in Kangar.
Fauzi said that for a start, No-ble would act as lead consultant for the IMT-GT projects under the Malaysian side while in Indonesia, its counterpart was PT Suwarnob-bumi. The company is yet to ap-point a consultant for Thailand.
According to Fauzee, the proposed consulting group was mostly to generate mutual success for the IMT-GT.
The proposed group would not pose a threat to other business interests of parties in the individual nations, he said.
The grouping was meant to help coordinate a higher sense of success in joint ventures so that all members of the IMT-GT could share the benefits.
In a related development, ACMS Resources Bhd has offered to deve-lop healthcare education programme for the IMT-GT under its proposed Allianze College of Medi-cal Sciences. ACMS, which is based in Penang, is a subsidiary of Synergy Health-care Sdn Bhd.
