New SC rules soon on asset valuation

PROFESSIONAL valuation services companies expect a windfall when the Securities Commission (SC) finally releases new guidelines that include financial, plant and machinery valuation.  

The SC is expected to release new guidelines on asset valuation soon. The SC has had extensive consultations with relevant industry groups and stakeholders to ensure significant improvements in the efficiency of fund-raising process with the implementation of the final phase of disclosure-based regulation.
