HONG KONG: Consumer confidence here has sagged in the past few months with more people expecting the local economy to deteriorate, according to a survey by the Hong Kong Retail Management Association (HKRMA).
More than half of the 1,000 people interviewed between December and February expected Hong Kong's economy to deteriorate in the following three months, compared with 37% in the preceding quarterly survey.
