THE break out of the long-awaited war between the US and Iraq on Thursday is expected to heighten volatility in global stock markets including the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange (KLSE) in the coming weeks.
Market observers say although the war had finally removed a major market uncertainty over the timing of military action by the US, expectations over the duration of strike and its degree of success will dominate the stock market direction in the immediate future.
