HONG KONG (AP) - Most Asian markets closed higher Thursday as a U.S.-led offensive on Iraq began, with investors hoping that the military campaign will be short.
In Tokyo, the benchmark Nikkei Stock Average climbed 144.01 points, or 1.79 percent, to 8,195.05.
