Higher manufacturing sales in January

THE manufacturing sector registered a higher sales value of RM25.9bil for January, a-year-on-year increase by 8.4% or RM2bil compared with RM23.9bil recorded in the same month last year, the Statistics Department said yesterday. 

The sales value was also higher by 1.6% or RM0.4bil when compared with RM25.5bil recorded in December 2002.
