LOCAL small- and medium-sized industries (SMIs) are reducing their investments in China as multinational corporations (MNCs) in Malaysia have stopped relocating to the republic since late last year.
SMI Association of Malaysia president Looi Teong Chye said SMIs, which are predominantly suppliers to the MNCs, used to move their investments to be where their clients were.
