SINGAPORE: Singapore’s government investment agency Temasek Holdings will lead a consortium that includes Deutsche Bank to bid for a 51% stake in Indonesia’s Bank Danamon worth an estimated US$400mil, according to sources familiar with the matter.
They said the two were among 17 investors that had expressed interest in making a preliminary bid for Danamon, Indonesia’s fifth largest bank with a network of 464 branches. The preliminary bids must be made by this weekend.
