NAGA DDB, the largest advertising and communications group in Malaysia, has sent 12 of its staff to the DDB University (DDBU) Asia Tour in Bangkok.

The virtual university, set up three years ago by DDB Worldwide top management from New York, Chicago and London, conducts training programmes in various places around the world. The Bangkok programme will run from March 10 to 14.

Naga DDB said in a statement that DDBU equipped DDB staff with new skills, better tools and global resources.

“Training is a vital key to benefiting our clients' brands and our staff career. It is also an important part of the process to ensure accountability to our clients – to deliver communications solutions tailored to bring a return on investment,” said Naga DDB group executive chairman Datuk Vincent Lee.
