Pak Lah: Adopt attractive dividend policy

Malaysian companies should make every effort to enhance shareholder value and maximise returns to investors by adopting a more attractive dividend policy, said acting Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi. 

“Some companies have adopted a policy of increasing dividends to make themselves more attractive to investors. I believe more companies should follow this lead,'' he said at the KLSE Corporate Awards 2002 presentation in Seri Kembangan yesterday.
