l Scenario 1 (Live-in simulator)

Before leaving for vacation, switch on the live-in simulator programme of Sentinel Prowhich which will switch on and off the pre-determined electrical appliances such as lights and fans at certain intervals or in random as if you were at home.

l Scenario 2 (Intruder apprehension)

Sentinel Pro detects an illegal entry. Using heat detection, it identifies the location of the intruder.

Once located, it then switches on a hidden camera to record the movements and activity of the intruder, and begins dialling several of the telephone numbers you have programmed via the auto dialler. The first person it informs verbally of the intrusion is you. Next, it informs your brother to take the appropriate action such as calling the authorities. Sentinel Pro switches on the alarm siren and all the lighting systems in your house.

l Scenario 3 (Back-up system)

Your neighbourhood suffers a power disruption due to lightning and thunderstorm. Sentinel Pro switches on its built-in battery power backup. In the meantime, the surge and spike protection protects your Sentinel Pro unit from sudden electricity surge that may arise.

l Scenario 4 (Ambient settings)

A series of number pressing and verbal communications are all you need to do for Sentinel Pro to switch on the air-conditioning units and the ventilation fans. The temperature in the house begins to drop and your home is soon filled with fresh air.

The morning after, while waiting for breakfast, you read the security report Sentinel Pro has printed out for you.

l Scenario 5 (Remote monitoring)

You are away for a business trip and your handphone rings. It’s a call from Sentinel Pro. After a few series of number pressing and verbal communications, you conclude that there is actually a break in attempt from your front door. You then enter another code that enables a amplified speaker system. You then verbally notify the intruder that his presence has been made known.

Still worried, you use your notebook PC to call Sentinel Pro. With the preinstalled remote surveillance software, you turn on the lights and view your home with the attached CCTV cameras.
