THE selling prices of corrugated carton box and its related products will be increased by 15% with immediate effect. And there may be another round of price adjustment some time this year depending on the situation, according to Malaysian Corrugated Carton Manufacturers Association (MCCMA) chairman Steve Leow.

He said the current 25% surge in paper prices regionally and price increases in starch, ink and oil-based materials during the 1st quarter of this year had made it difficult for the association's members to absorb such high increases in production costs.
