Mesdaq sets goal to list 50

MALAYSIAN Exchange of Securities Dealing and Automated Quotation (Mesdaq) is targeting 50 listings by the end of this year.

“We have 16 companies listed so far. There are eight companies which have already been approved and whose listings are pending. As there are 11 which are in various stages of processing, it will not be too much to expect 15 more applications until the end of the year,” KLSE senior vice-president (securities issues) Johan Abdullah told StarBiz during an interview.
