THE Malaysian capital market has continued to grow despite challenging times, Securities Commission chairman Datuk Ali Abdul Kadir said.
He said most evidently, the capital market had evolved into a key driver of growth for the Malaysian economy, with the ratio of the funds raised over gross domestic product at 17% as at end-2002 compared with 12% in 1992.
