SOUTHERN Bank Bhd expects to strengthen further its position in the credit card clearing business with the introduction of SBB Merchant eAccess, a system leveraging on the Internet and leading-edge technology that enables merchants to better manage their credit card operations.
General manager for consumer banking Tom van Tighem said Southern Bank was the first in Malaysia to provide online merchant statements and transaction details over the Internet, with downloading capabilities.
