WASHINGTON: US President George W. Bush’s hotly disputed tax-cut plan has cut his ratings on the economy, although he still gets strong support on Iraq and terrorism, a new survey showed.
As Bush continues taking to the road to sell his proposal for an 11-year, US$695bil tax cut to fire up the sagging US economy, public support has been ebbing away, according the findings of the latest Pew survey released this week.
