NIELSEN Media Research has formed a partnership with BMRB International Ltd to jointly market each other's single-source multimedia and marketing information services.
The two-year marketing agreement covers six of Nielsen's Asia Pacific markets: Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand. Under the agreement, Nielsen will continue to offer its Media Index survey in these markets, and will also be able to sell global TGI (Target Group Index) data there from outside the six countries.
In turn, BMRB will be able to sell Media Index data from the six countries elsewhere in the world as part of its global TGI service.
Nielsen currently offers Media Index, the currency for readership information and the leading multimedia and marketing survey in the Asia Pacific region. Conducted annually, Media Index provides extensive information on the media habits, demographics, consumption patterns and purchase intentions of the population in 10 countries.
BMRB, through its wholly-owned business units and through a growing network of affiliates, offers its Global TGI in 40 countries across North and South America, Eastern and Western Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia.
