Golden Hope interim net profit surges seven-fold

GOLDEN Hope Plantations Bhd has announced a seven-fold increase in net profit to RM118mil for its first half ended Dec 31, 2002, owing to better performance from the group’s agribusiness. 

In an announcement to the KLSE, the company reported a 625% rise in its unaudited after-tax group profit from RM16mil in the corresponding period a year earlier.
