Affin Bank to close 3 branches this week


AFFIN Bank Bhd will be closing three branches this week as part of its rationalisation exercise. 

In a statement, the bank said the branches were in Rantau Panjang (Kelantan), Pandan Indah (Kuala Lumpur) and Pontian Kechil (Johor). 

The Rantau Panjang branch will cease operations effective Feb 20 while the Pontian Kechil and Pandan Indah branches will be closed from Feb 22. 

With the closure, Affin Bank's branches will be reduced to 84 from 87 now. 

The bank has assured its customers that their account numbers shall remain unchanged for their convenience until further notice. The ATMs at the closed branches will also remain operational at their existing locations until further notice.
